The Wolf Treasure Money Respin: every rule, and what a round is actually worth

The Money Respin is the whole reason Wolf Treasure exists. Six coins on one spin lock in place, the rest of the reels respin three times, and every new coin resets the count. At the end the coin values are added up and any jackpot coin pays its multiple of your bet. This page lays out each rule as the catalogue lists it, then does the sums: what the minimum round pays, what a jackpot coin adds, and why the 2,000× top prize isn't the Mega.

The rules, in the order they happen

  1. Trigger. Six or more moon coins land anywhere on the reels in one spin. Each coin shows a cash value or a jackpot name.
  2. Lock. The coins stay where they are. Every other position becomes a blank that respins.
  3. Three respins. The blanks spin three times. A new coin locks and sets the counter back to three.
  4. End. The round ends when the counter reaches zero or when all 15 positions hold a coin.
  5. Pay. Coin values are added together and paid. A Mini, Major or Mega coin pays 30×, 100× or 1,000× your bet on top.

The catalogue lists that as the complete feature. There’s no gamble step, no multiplier wheel, no second screen. What you see locked is what you get paid.

What a minimum round pays

Six coins is the floor. On the reels I’ve seen, cash coins carry values like 2.00 and 3.00 at a $1 bet, which suggests small coins are worth a low single-digit multiple of the bet. Six of them with no new arrivals is roughly 12× to 18× the bet: at $0.25 that’s $3 to $4.50. Not a lot, and it’s the most common outcome of the feature. The round earns its name when coins keep landing and the counter keeps resetting.

I’ll replace “roughly” with the exact coin values once I’ve read the paytable from the info panel; that’s on the paytable page when it’s done.

What a jackpot coin adds

A Mini coin on the board adds 30× your bet to the total; at $1 that’s the $30 shown on the game’s top bar. A Major adds 100×. A Mega adds 1,000×, and it’s the rarest coin on the reels. Because the jackpots are multiples of your bet, they scale: at $0.25 the Mega is $250, at $5 it’s $5,000. That’s the case for betting more, and it’s also the case for not doing so until you’ve seen how often six coins land at all.

Why the top prize is 2,000×, not 1,000×

The catalogue lists the game’s maximum win as 2,000 times the bet, twice the Mega. That’s a full board: 15 coins including the Mega and Major plus high-value cash coins. It’s the ceiling of the game and the reason a filling board is worth more than any single coin. It’s also the outcome you’re least likely to see; in a few hundred demo spins I’d expect a couple of Money Respins and no full board at all.

How to play the feature, if you’re going to

Bet small enough that you can afford the spins between rounds. Six coins is a rare event on 15 positions, and the base game between rounds pays little. Learn the round in demo mode before you put $20 in, and treat the merged-reel free spins as a side dish. If you want a comparison, pokies with a similar feature shows where Wolf Treasure sits on trigger frequency and jackpot size.

Questions people ask

How many coins start the Money Respin?
Six, anywhere on the five reels in one spin. Five coins pay nothing extra and don’t lock.
How many respins do you get?
Three to start, and the counter goes back to three every time a new coin lands. A round can run well past three spins if coins keep arriving; it ends when three spins pass with nothing new or all 15 positions are full.
What is a jackpot coin?
A coin marked Mini, Major or Mega instead of a cash value. It locks like any coin and pays 30×, 100× or 1,000× your bet when the round ends. You need the coin itself; filling the board doesn’t award the Mega by itself.
What happens if all 15 positions fill?
The round ends immediately and every coin on the board pays. The catalogue lists the game’s top prize as 2,000× your bet, which is what a full board of high-value and jackpot coins can reach.

Took the trigger, respin count, reset rule, end condition and jackpot multiples from the slotcatalog.com listing on 29 September 2026 and cross-checked the jackpot ladder against a frame of the reels at a $1 bet. The coin values on the reels are the ones visible in that frame. Not yet done: the full coin value list from the game's paytable, which needs the info panel from an Australian connection.

A commission from a casino never changes the figures on this page or the order of anything on this site.
